From the post at Life in General:
The Challenge: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days (roughly 2.75 years)The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part). Why 1001 Days?: Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple goals such as new year’s resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks.
I have never been a 'formal' goal-maker, but I do often make goals for myself in my head. You know, "this week I'm going to only have one cup of coffee a day", or, "I want to do that Pinterest project soon!"
I know that keeping all that stuff in my head is not helpful, and it sometimes just makes me feel overwhelmed with all of the things I want to do. So this project seems perfect. If I have almost 3 years, I feel like I can accomplish anything. Everything. Just not all at once.
So, here's the start of my list. I've taken a few months to make sure the goals are meaningful. I also want to hold myself accountable, so that's where you come in. Don't let me slack off! And if you can help me out with any of these, I'd appreciate it.
I'm reinstating this blog to help me track my progress on these goals:
